| Sofia y los mariachis |
We've been in Switzerland for 2 weeks and have enjoyed a variety of things but interestingly one of the most fun events has been the Mexican independence day celebration with the Nestle Mexican employees... Great Mexican food, mariachis, singing of Mexican anthem and the hillarious replacement of the traditional bell with a Swiss one... There were even piñatas for the kids. The icing on the cake was that we ran into some pals from college. They are all now in Switzerland working for Nestle! Long live Mexico!

Hasta el momento hemos disfrutado visitar varios lugares, parques, caminar junto a lago, conocer nuevos vecinos y curiosamente la fiesta Mexicana con motivo del bicentenario de la Independencia a la que fuimos el sabado pasado. Hubo taquiza, mariachis, piñata para los n
iños y hasta grito de independencia en el que la tradicional campana de Dolores se vio reemplazda por un cencerro suizo gigante!

Increiblemente nos encontramos a varios ex-compañeros de la facultad de Química que curiosamente tambien andan por aca! Asi que pues Viva Mexico y una goya pa' la UNAM!
